I'm currently studying a degree in ecology after leaving a ten year career in IT. I have a fairly recent interest in the environment generally, and dream of living in a self-sustaining community in the hills.
I'm not one for cutesy animal pictures, but these I took myself this afternoon. They are of a one-day old male foal, of thoroughbred race-horse parentage, currently residing in the field alongside our house. Having never seen such a young foal, I'm surprised at how skinny the little fella is.
